TracePair Field

About TracePair Field

An independent browser game built to make every hidden-line choice inspectable, from deterministic stimulus generation through exact answer-position reveal.

Independent, original implementation

The game logic, copy, interface, illustrations, forty-card pool, generator, and tests are clean-room work. They do not copy another site's source code, fixed pattern model, artwork, wording, or visual design. The project uses a distinct name, an original paper-and-ink visual system, and an original procedural graph pool.

What was checked

The committed pool contains forty unique fields with twenty Yes and twenty No answers. Negative advanced cards balance the missing target ten for A and ten for B. Each field has twenty-six edges, one connected component, fixed bounds, and an exact zero-or-one target occurrence. Every embedded target vertex has at least one non-target incident edge. Paired Yes and No fields are balanced for key layout features, and a separate field-only leakage gate stays under its preregistered 60 percent threshold. All forty cards received a manual visual sign-off for connectedness and embedding.

What those checks do not prove

They do not establish a psychological construct, population norm, diagnosis, treatment effect, transfer of learning, workplace suitability, or equal difficulty across cards. TracePair Field is practice and entertainment, not a validated clinical, cognitive, educational, or hiring assessment. Scores should remain personal game feedback.
